By using onitalk, you agree to these Terms of Service. onitalk is a decentralized video chat service that uses peer-to-peer connections. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

2. Service Description

onitalk enables decentralized video chats between up to 5 participants. The service works as follows:

• All video and audio connections are established directly between participants (peer-to-peer)
• We use BitTorrent-based signaling via Trystero for connection establishment
• No content is stored on our servers
• Room IDs are generated in your browser and are not centrally managed

3. User Responsibility

As a user, you are responsible for:

• Using the service legally
• Protecting your room links and passwords
• The content you share during video chats
• Compliance with applicable laws in your jurisdiction

4. Prohibited Use

It is prohibited to use onitalk for the following purposes:

• Illegal activities of any kind
• Harassment, bullying, or threatening other users
• Distribution of harmful content
• Attempts to manipulate or disrupt the technical infrastructure

5. Decentralized Architecture

onitalk is intentionally built in a decentralized manner. This means that we have no access to your video chats and cannot moderate them. The responsibility for use lies entirely with the participants. For password-protected rooms, only the owner (who knows the password) has the ability to remove participants.

6. Disclaimer

onitalk is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for interruptions, data loss, or damages arising from the use of the service. Since the service operates in a decentralized manner, we cannot provide availability guarantees.

7. Changes

We reserve the right to change these Terms of Service at any time. In case of significant changes, we will announce this on the homepage. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
